We continue drawing the landscapes. This time we will teach the children how to draw a waterfall. We can see the waterfalls rarely, but the sight of it is exciting. The most famous waterfalls are Victoria Falls and Angel Falls.
Start drawing.
Place for drawing
Draw a square using a ruler. We will draw all the details within its borders.
Stones
Draw two stones in the lower corners.
Rock
Water falls from the rock. Start drawing its borders.
They are uneven because the rock consists of soil and stones.
Waterfall
Draw two vertical lines approximately in the middle, marking the waterfall.
Make the upper part rounded because the water smoothes the corners of the rocks.
Use a wavy line to make the lower part.
Look at your drawing and add the details. Erase the unnecessary lines.
Waves on the water
The waterfall flows into the river or the lake and causes the waves. Draw them.
Lines from the water go in circles.
Glares of the sun
The waterfall seems to be white from aside in sunny days because of the sun’s rays reflection. Draw the glares of light on the falling water.
Rocky shore
Draw some stones on the right bank.
Details of the drawing
Draw some extra lines to make the drawing look more realistic.
Left bank
Draw the stones of different shapes and sizes on the left bank. Draw a shore at the bottom.
Plants
You can draw the leaves, the flowers or the trees. You can draw a lily on the water.
