This instruction will help to explain to the child the meaning of the foreground and the background, horizon line and proportions. All steps are accompanied with a photo with explanations. Therefore, it will be easy to draw. Good luck!
Foreground
In the foreground, draw the outlines of the hill. Draw it with the help of a curved line.
Second plan
The hill in the second plan seems to be higher because of the features of the perspective. Everything that is further, we see as if from above.
Third plan
In the background, draw the third hill which is the horizon line at the same time.
Sun
The heavenly body is on the horizon. Draw it using a compass or a round object of a suitable size. If the sun is at sunset, erase part of the circle.
Rays
Draw the rays from the sun in all directions. You can use a ruler to draw them correctly.
Lines of grass
Somewhere the shade is lighter, somewhere is darker. Mark the boundaries between the grass using the curved lines. If a child draws a field, it can be ploughed land.
Draw the lines on all the hills. Pay attention how the lines bend.
Clouds
Draw a few clouds of different shapes. Don’t forget to erase unnecessary lines.
As soon as the basis of the drawing is completed, the child can complement the landscape with the details. Check out our drawing instructions and choose the appropriate additions.
Coloring
Color the meadow in shades of green. The sky is blue, the clouds are white and the sun is yellow.
