Initially, use the ruler to draw the vertical axis in the center of the sheet. It will indicate the location of the figure on the paper and serve as an auxiliary basis for the drawing. In the middle of the axis depict the body of a knight, in the form of a triangular figure with rounded corners.
Draw an average, elongated oval above the body. It’s the character’s head. It must remain some space for the neck between the body and the head.
Depict the legs in the form of two thin elements as it’s shown in the picture. The shoes of the knight are big. To represent them, draw two large semi-oval. The shoes of a warrior are called “chainmail boots”. It’s made of iron. It’s very heavy but it protects the foot from injury in battle.
Medieval knight always holds a shield in his hand. It has a protective function. A warrior is hiding behind the shield from attacks, weapons. As a rule, the shield has a pentagonal shape.
The main protective element of the knight is armor. Metal clothing which consists of a protective rim, forearm, skirt, bib, shoulder.
Make a clear outline of the armor. It should look like as it’s shown in the picture.
Our knight has a big spear with an axe at the end. Draw it first schematically using thin lines.
Then make clear contours.
Draw symbols on the outside of the shield. Also, add feathers to the headdress. Such feathers were worn only by the knights of the Legion of Honor.
Make clear contours and the drawing is ready!
