Draw a rectangle – it’s the soil’s line. The grass will grow from it.
Erase the upper side of the rectangle. Leave the sides and the bottom.
It will be easier to draw other details if you draw it in the middle.
Draw the stems in any quantity. They are different in sizes because some of them are still growing and some of them have already grown.
The stems can bend in different directions.
Fill the empty space
The grass covers the ground like a thick carpet. The more stems you draw, the better.
Draw the last stems and erase the unnecessary lines.
Correct the tips to make them sharp.
