The hero of our today’s drawing is a field cornflower. The cornflowers grow in fields like corn and grains that’s why it’s called so. The process of drawing will be easy and fascinating with our instruction. Can we start?
Head
We are drawing a couple of flowers. At first we’ll show you how to draw this flower completely from A to Z. Draw a small oval at the top of the sheet.
Stem
Draw a long stem down from it.
Receptacle
It’s a flower’s detail, the petals grow from it. Draw the small “scales” inside the oval.
Petals
They are thin near the basis, widen upward. Draw them small because there are a lot of petals.
The upper part of the petals resembles a crown with three prongs. The Central “prong” rises above the rest ones.
Draw the desired number of petals. They are located at a short distance but they are not in touch.
Leaf
The leaves are thin and straight, smoothly narrow on top.
Bud
Draw a stem with a small bud which hasn’t opened yet.
Second flower
Draw another flower on the left side using the same scheme.
Don’t forget about the leaves.
Third flower
You can draw any number of cornflowers.
Coloring
You can color with the watercolors, the crayons or the markers.
You can also color online.
