The lion’s name was Taka before. It wanted to be the king instead of its brother Mufasa. The brothers saw a buffalo Bom when they were hunting. Taka threatened that the buffalo must share the water or it would have a fight with Mufasa. The buffalo agreed to fight but it had lost. A herd of buffaloes came to rescue it, one of them hit Taku with its horns. That’s how it had got a scar and a new name.
