Determine the size
First, you should decide where to place the egg on the paper. Place it in the middle if you draw one egg. Don’t draw it too small in order it won’t be difficult to make the patterns.
Give the shape to it
Chicken eggs have an oval, slightly elongated shape with one side which is more blunt and the other one has a sharp end. So you have to give an ovoid shape to the oval. Draw the circle below from the middle.
Smoothly encircle the contour of the egg.
Erase the extra lines.
Horizontal lines of the pattern
You don’t need any patterns if you color the egg in one color. The patterned eggs usually have the patterns in the form of the geometrical figures, the linear patterns. It’s easy to do this but the result will be wonderful.
Draw them at a short distance between each other with the help of the semicircular lines which show the shape of the egg.
Make the distance between the next line bigger. Leave some place for the other patterns.
Make sure that the curve of the lines is the same. Otherwise, the shape of the Easter egg will be distorted.
Six lines will be enough.
But you can draw any number of them.
Add a couple of thin lines in those places where there will be another patterns.
Draw a circle in the center. Add some smaller circles on the sides from it.
Then you will get everything proportionally.
The next pattern is a wavy line.
Draw it in stages to make the drawing even.
Make the pattern using a broken line.
Make all the triangles of the same size.
Giving the details
Fill the empty space with the help of the thin lines.
