Stem
It acts as a “skeleton” of the plant. There are stems of berries which go from the main branch to the left and to the right.
Berries shape
Draw them in the form of ovals of different sizes.
Leaves
The plant breathes and gives oxygen with the help of them. Draw some leaves of an almond shape.
Bracts
They are the small leaves which are at the berries’ basis.
Veins on the leaves
You can draw a different number of them on each leaf.
Berries
The berries on the blackberry are called drupelets. There are a small pip within each of them. That’s why there is another name of the plant – aggregate drupe.
Drupelets densely adjoin to each other.
Their shape can be different.
Draw the drupelets on the remaining ovals.
Coloring
The fruits acquire first green color, then brownish one, and then bright red-brown color in the process of ripening. Ripe fruits have the purple color.
