Going for mushrooms, people take the containers to put the mushrooms in them. A wicker basket was very popular. You could put a lot in it and it was very light-weight. You can draw a basket together with your child, tell him or her about different types of baskets and you can also tell about dangerous mushrooms.
When you’ll be going to go to pick up mushrooms , your child will be able to choose a container for him or her and he or she won’t pick up fly agarics for sure.
Basis
Draw the basis or the basket’s hole in the center to leave enough space for the other details.
Outlines
Draw the outlines in the form of a circle, because the basket looks like a circle. The basis should slightly be above the center of the circle.
Circle's upper part
Carefully erase the upper part of the circle, try not to touch the basis.
Lower part
The bottom is not rounded but slightly straightened in our basket. Correct it, but don’t make it perfectly straight.
Rim
The rim is an obligatory detail of the basket. It holds the parts of the wicker basket together. It’s drawn from the top and completes the oval.
Draw rotundities from the left and from the right.
Correct the rim to make it look more voluminous.
Horizontal wicker-work
The first part of the wicker-work is horizontal. Pay attention that the lines are uneven, they are slightly rounded. It gives the volume to the basket.
Vertical wicker-work
The horizontal wicker-work creates the basket’s basis, the vertical one holds it together. First draw a line in the center.
Draw the next lines on the left and on the right.
All the lines of the wicker-work, except the central, are slightly rounded.
Correction
Erase the lines of the wicker-work on the rim, because it’s made in another way.
Handle
Draw the handle in the form of two semi-ovals. They are connected on the opposite sides.
Correct the lines and erase the unnecessary details.
Handle's wicker-work
Make the handle a little bit wider at its lower part to prevent it from the separating from the basket.
Handle’s edges also end with the wicker-work, which is much smaller than the basket’s wicker-work, but it’s very firm.
Rim's wicker-work
The rim’s wicker-work is made of withe, which is curved in a spiral.
Draw this wicker-work in the form of the short curved lines.
Coloring
The baskets are made of withe, so color them with different shades of brown. You can alternate the shades in a checkerboard pattern to make the basket look more beautiful and more realistic. You can add mushrooms inside, ask your child what mushrooms he or she wants to put in the basket. You can tell your child about good and bad mushrooms in such a way.
Try to draw it online.
Choose how you want to paint.
