The child wants to help you to pack your suitcase or to put something that he or she thinks to be important when there is a departure. Though it’s very often you can find your child’s favorite toys in your suitcase.
Don’t scold your child. It’s better to offer him or her to draw a suitcase and think what he or she can put inside of it. We are sure that your child will be interested with this fascinating activity.
Basis
Draw an auxiliary figure – a rectangle with rounded corners. It should be slightly rotated to the right.
Volume
Make the suitcase’s contours voluminous, draw additional details on the left side.
Belts
A suitcase always has belts, which don’t let it to open up when you are moving. They are on the flaps of the suitcase.
Handle
Handle is an important part of the suitcase. It’s convenient to carry it with the help of it. Draw it in the form of an irregular semicircle.
Draw one more line to make the handle look voluminous.
Clasps
There are clasps on the right and on the left sides near the handle. They connect the flaps of the suitcase. Draw them in the form of the rectangles.
Add small details to the clasps.
Sheathing
Separate the corners of the suitcase using semicircles.
Draw small circles on the corners which attach the cloth to the suitcase.
Stitches' lines
The stitches lines on the suitcase can be real or they can serve as cloth decoration. Draw the stitches as dotted line.
Coloring
You can color the suitcase as it’s shown in the picture, or let your child choose the colors.
