Children often don’t like to fold their clothes, finding a lot of reasons to delay the cleaning in the wardrobe for later. As a result, one of the parents has to clean in it.
Don’t scold your child. It’s better to help him or her to clean. You can distract and draw one of the clothes’ items if your child will be tired of cleaning. You can draw a shirt, for example.
Basis
You should draw the basis in the form of a rectangle to make the clothes look symmetrical. We will draw the shirt, using this figure.
Collar's area
The area for a collar is located in the center of the upper line. Measure the equal length from the every basis’ corner, it can be 3 cm. for example, and erase the central segment.
Forming the shoulders
The shirt’s shoulders are not straight. They are cut if you look carefully. Form the right shoulders’ line, cutting off the sharp basis’ corners.
Sleeves' cutouts
Sleeves have special cutouts, which the seamstress form to mark the sleeves. We also recommend you to mark the lines where the sleeves will have their end to make the drawing more even.
Erase the upper corners of the rectangle.
Lower part
The lower part is also uneven, because this style of shirt is a standard. It is slightly curved down the center.
Collar
Draw the collar in the previously left area. This detail is above the shirt.
The collar’s tips go in different directions.
Erase unnecessary lines or details.
Line for buttons
This line is on every piece of clothes with buttons and it separates them from the rest of the cloth. You should use your ruler to make the detail even.
The pocket is always sewn to the shirt to make it possible for a person to put a pen or a handkerchief in it.
Sleeves
Draw the sleeves, which are extended to the sides. Cloth items are not perfectly smooth, they are slightly rounded.
They end with a double stitched cloth. It has a button, which prevents the sleeves’ rolling up.
Draw the second sleeve in the same way. You can also draw a line where they will end to make the sleeves’ length equal.
Buttons
The last detail is the buttons, which are located in the center of the shirt and they are drawn as the small circles.
