Do you know what is a lighthouse for? It’s a guide for marine vessels. It has a special color and shape to make it clearly visible for the sailors. Lighthouses have a bright light to be noticeable in any weather and at any time of the day. Lighthouses can signal the sailors, so they can orientate in the sea.

Auxiliary figure
Draw a vertical rectangle in the form of a trapezoid. Connect the top and the bottom with the help of the arcs.
Ring
It surrounds the entire upper part of the lighthouse. And it serves as a platform for the lighthouse keepers.
Upper part of the lighthouse
Draw a rectangle with a rounded top.
Ring lattice
Draw an upper bar and draw a vertical line inside. The lattice serves as a barrier.
Sector lights
Draw the four horizontal lines at the same distance inside the tower.
Rooftop
It looks like a dome with a pointed end.
Lattice on the roof
Draw the vertical lines on the roof.
Spotlights
They are placed directly under the ring in the form of the short vertical lines. Add a small bell on the top above the dome to show the top of the lighthouse.
Door
It’s at the bottom of the tower, draw it in a form of a rectangle.
Windows
Draw two small rectangle inside the lighthouse. Divide each of them in a half.
Coloring
The dome of the lighthouse is brown, the sector lights and the door are red.
