It’s very important for children to know safety rules during a trip to the sea or to the river. Especially if he or she can’t swim. If your child is bored just listen, offer him or her to draw a lifebuoy – a necessary attribute of a sea rescuer.
Additional figure
We will draw a circle a little to the side, so it will look like an oval.
Second oval
Draw one more oval inside the first figure, which must look like the letter O.
Volume
Now you need to give the volume to the circle. Draw a thin strip on one side in the second circle.
Erase unnecessary line, leave only small strokes.
Stripes on the circle
Start drawing the stripes on the circle.
Draw slightly curved lines to one side on the left and right sides.
Draw the stripes approximately on the one line.
Enlarge the lines at the top and at the bottom.
Small details
Make the stripes on the circle voluminous.
Don’t forget to draw details to each stripe.
Patterns
Draw a few lines that are slightly curved on the stripes.
Rope
Draw a contour of the rope in the form of a curved line outside the circle.
Rope's volume
Add another line and connect in order to make the rope more voluminous.
Spirals
Rope is made of spirally twisted threads. Draw short dashes on the rope which will mark the spiral.
Look at your drawing and correct the inaccuracies.
Coloring
Color the circle bright red or orange. The stripes are white on it.
