How to draw a lady’s hat (+ coloring)

Children like to try on their parents’ clothes. Especially girls, who try to look older. And hats are not exception. It’s better to draw a hat with a girl. You can tell the interesting stories about hats in a process of drawing.

You need:

Basis

Draw an oval that lies, which will be the basis for the hat.

Draw another smaller figure in the oval’s center.

Draw another oval over the central one, but it must be a few centimeters smaller, because the hat’s top is being narrowed.

Connection

The center and the top are connected with the help of two vertical lines at the edges.

Correction

Erase the hat’s lines, which are inside of the ovals.

Draw a curved horizontal line at the hat’s basis, which represents the hatband.

Draw another oval inside the big one, which is in a small distance from the first oval.

Central band is tied in a knot. Draw it as a small irregular rectangle. It’s pulled a little bit in the area where it connects the band.

The last details are the thin lines, which must be drawn on the both sides of the hatband’s middle.
