We draw a basis in a form of a rectangle or a square. You can choose a form that you like.
You can mark a border inside, in the area where the frame ends. Try to make the corners on one line.
Draw the corners in the form of diagonal lines.
They go to the opposite directions on one line.
The lower lines must continue the upper ones.
You can use a ruler and draw the diagonal lines. Then erase the extra lines and leave only the corners.
There must be one more rectangle inside, because the wood’s connections make these lines.
There is one more rectangle between this line and the border.Don’t press on your pencil when drawing it.
Draw the rectangles at a very small distance from each other to give some volume to the frame.
Leave the small part of the frame blank, this part is near the basis. The patterns will be there.
Upper and lower patterns
Draw the patterns with the help of small curved lines.Their inclination must be on one side.
The lines are smaller and smaller near the corners. Try not to go beyond the borders. Don’t press while drawing in order to make it possible to erase the detail if it’s wrong.
Look at your drawing and correct it at this stage. Give the necessary shape to your frame and erase the unnecessary details.
Patterns on the sides
We’ll finish our drawing with the patterns on the left and on the right sides. These lines should be horizontal, but slightly bend up.
