Mom’s or grandma’s pies are the tastiest for children. Even when children become adults, they still would like to eat a pie.
The child wants to help when he or she sees his or her mom is cooking in order to make the pie more tastier. You shouldn’t ask your child to go away, it’s better to ask him or her to do something to help you. The child will feel himself or herself an adult and will gladly help you. And you can draw a dish after cooking it together. Our instruction will help you.
Additional figure
Draw an oval, which will be your additional figure because we will depict the cake slightly from the side.
Lower part
Draw the lower part in the form of a curved rectangle with rounded corners. Connect it with the oval.
Rim
Draw another oval inside the additional figure and separate the pie from the sides of the baking pan.
Pattern
It’s very often people put the cut strips of dough at the cake’s top, which form a grid. Start drawing them in a form of straight lines.
Draw the second layer of lines to form a grid.
Correction
Start to erase the lines’ intersecting to create the impression that some strips are at the top and the others are below.
Erase all unnecessary lines in order to make them not intersect.
Baking pan
Draw the baking pan’s details and correct the form.
Edges
The cake’s edges look like a lace. Draw small semi-circles along the oval to create the lace.
Erase the extra line to make the edge look voluminous.
Cherry
Draw a cherry with a stem in the center of the pie.
Coloring
Color your pie in brown and sand colors. The cherry is red.
Color the cake online. You will see that it’s a great fun. Choose how you want to draw 🙂
