Where to start
Divide a sheet of paper in a half with the help of a horizontal line. The lower part is the table, the upper part is the background.
Wikipedia defines still life as a depiction of inanimate objects in the fine art. Still life is often painted in combination with a jug or a vase. We’ll follow this tradition too.
Show the volume of the jug with the help of the additional semicircular lines. See step by step instruction of how to draw a vase.
Erase the lines in the background.
Add a narrow “spout” and a long handle to the jug.
Draw two circles on the sides using a compass or encircle a round object.
Create the right shape.
Draw a small leaf and the short twigs.
We have a special instruction of how to draw the pears.
You can draw a still life with any fruit, for example – the apples.
