Drawing flowers, you can always free your imagination and creativity. You can use different techniques, materials, implement any ideas and play with different colors. Our site has already a sufficient number of creative works depicting bouquets, lily, rose, dandelion, vase, etc. On this drawing lesson we offer you to draw a flowerpot, or it’s better to say, the chamomiles in a flowerpot. The stages of work are not complicated. Carefully follow the instruction and you will succeed.
Auxiliary lines
We recommend you to draw two straight cross lines in the center of the sheet. Use a ruler to do this. Starting from them, it will be much easier to depict the picture.
Upper part of the pot
Houseplants are usually planted in beautiful, clay pots. They have a peculiar shape. The upper part protrudes slightly and differs in a size.
Lower part of the pot
Draw it in the form of a trapezoid. It;s enough to add two straight lines on both sides. And draw a semicircular bottom.
Flowers
For example, we chose the chmomiles to draw in a pot. Carefully repeat the details as it’s shown in the picture. If you have difficulties, you can see more detailed instruction on how to draw a daisy step by step.
Erase the lines which are being intersected.
Draw the middles of the flowers in the same way. We start with the simplest elements – the middle.
Add the petals, first on one side.
Then on the other side.
Erase the lines
We don’t need the auxiliary details any more. It’s time to get rid of them. Erase them carefully.
Greenery
Like most flowers, they have green leaves. Draw them in the form of thin, sharp figures which resemble tongues.
