Swans are big waterfowls. They are very beautiful and noble. With our step by step instruction to draw these birds is not difficult. The difficulty level of the drawing is simple. Take a pencil and get to work. We assure you, the process and the result will pleasantly surprise you, both a child and the parents.
Body
The Swan is a big bird. Draw a body in the form of a big oval. Place it at the bottom right of the sheet. Make one side of the figure sharp. This will serve as the tail of the bird. Look as it’s shown in the picture.
Head
The Swan’s head is small and round. Draw it at the top of the drawing to place a long neck between the two figures.
Neck
This part of the body is thin and long. A swan can get food from the depth of the lake with its help. It can dip its head to a depth of more than 1 meter. In the normal state, the bird’s neck has a curved shape. It’s rougher closer to the body, it’s thinner in the direction of the head.
Beak
Don’t forget to draw the bird’s beak. It’s medium-sized and sharp. A swan takes food with its help.
Erase the lines
We draw schematically in the first stages of drawing, using different shapes. When we get the whole image, we erase unnecessary lines. We should get a beautiful silhouette of a bird.
Wing
The swan’s wings are big. Draw them using three angles.
Tail
The tail consists of long feathers. They’re pointing up.
Erase the extra lines
Now, you’ve got the correct form of a bird.
Don’t forget to draw small eyes-buttons. At the base of the nose, separate the part of the head using smooth lines. The swan has a nodule and it’s black in this part.
Final touches
Draw the feathers using the wavy lines. They make the wing more voluminous and beautiful.
Since the swans are waterfowl birds, draw a pond by drawing a small waves. The picture is ready!
