We all see the stars at night and always admire the beauty of the starry sky. Astronomers have been studying celestial bodies for a long time. Even In ancient Egypt, people studied astronomy, and the Mayans, made the famous calendar, based on observations of the stars, which was much more preciser than a modern one.
The theme of the stars is very interesting, so the child will be glad to learn some interesting facts about them:
- The sun is not the biggest star in the Universe. There is a star that is 20 times bigger than the Sun in the constellation of Orion .
- Black holes, the most mysterious phenomena of space, used to be stars.
- Most of the stars we see in the sky are double stars.
Let’s try to draw the star now.
Draw a circle
First, draw a circle on a sheet of paper. To make it smooth, use a compass.
Divide the circle
Using the ruler divide the circle into four equal parts.
Pentagon
Draw a pentagon at this stage. You can also use the ruler to measure the distance and draw straight lines.
Triangle
Draw a triangle in the pentagon, starting from the vertical line. Its third side coincides with the side of the pentagon.
Draw the corners of the star
Draw the lines to the lower corners of the pentagon starting from the upper ones. The lines should cross exactly in the center.
Use one more line to connect the opposite corners.
Remove the unnecessary lines
Erase the circle and leave the star only.
Also erase the lines inside the star, leaving only the contour.
Divide the corners
Divide the star into two equal halves.
Draw two lines from the upper corners which are being intersected in the center.
Similarly, draw the lines from the lower corners.
