Start drawing a cow using a horizontal oval. This will be head. The oval mustn’t be big.
Draw a smaller oval under the head at a short distance – the body of the animal.
At this stage, connect the head and body with the help of two straight lines. The picture should resemble a mushroom.
Part of the head
Draw a small elongated cap-like oval on the cow’s head.
Connect both parts of the head because the cow’s head is of irregular shape. Erase the unnecessary line of the oval.
At the body’s bottom, draw two short legs. Also mark the hooves using two short lines.
Draw the forelimbs of the animal just below the head. The cow is waving with one limb and the second one is lowered down. Also draw an oval on the belly -a place where there will be an udder.
The front limbs have the hooves too. So draw them using the curved lines.
Ears and horns
Draw the ears on the head. They look like leaves and are tilted in opposite directions. The horns are small, they are almost in the center.
Eyes and nose
Now draw the eyes on the head. Cows have them big and round. The nose is depicted as an oval, it occupies most of the head. Also finish drawing the udder of the animal.
Draw a smile on its nose below.
In the center of the head draw the hair which look like a funny fringe.
You can see monochrome very rarely. Most often they are spotty. Draw any number of spots on the cow. They can be both big and small.
Cows have very beautiful long eyelashes. Draw the eyelashes to our cow to make it look like a real one.
Draw the bell on the cow’s neck. It looks like an inverted tulip. You can also draw a bell with a bow.
Usually the cows are white with black spots. But they can also be brown and red and gray. You can discuss with your child what color your cow will be. Its horns are light brown, the nose, internal side of the ears and udder are pink.
