How to draw a bicycle for a child in stages

Bicycles are the best friends of children during the holidays. Two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles not only give positive emotions to children but take care of their health.

Why children love cycling and why you need to buy a bike to your child

  1. They like speed, new emotions, love to conquer the road;
  2. The ability to ride a bike adds credibility in the company of friends;
  3. Undeniable health benefits: cycling provides health of the spine and cardiovascular system, increases endurance, strengthens muscles, improves lung function, the child learns to control balance, prevention of myopia, etc.

If your son or daughter doesn’t yet have a two-wheeled friend, offer him or her to draw it first. Show him or her the drawn pictures of the bikes to interest your child in the process of drawing. We offer to use our instruction.

You need:
1

Start drawing the wheels

Draw their correct shape using a compass. Irregularities are undesirable, as it is very difficult to drive on bent wheels 🙂

But first, teach the children safety rules when working with compasses.

Draw two circles of the same size, they must be big. To get the tires and the rim, add the same shapes inside, they only must be smaller.

Add bushings. With their help, the wheel is held evenly and spinning while driving.

2

Draw a system for the chain

The chain is put on a small circle which when you press the pedal rotates the wheels.

Draw a system for the chain

It has a protective shell that protects the feet from the chain. Inside, add an asterisk.

3

Start drawing the frame

It consists of several parts.

The first one is the seat tube and feathers (the designers call it a thin tube that connects the chain system to the rear wheel).

4

"Attach" mud flaps

On top of the wheels draw mud flaps. They protect the cyclist from mud while he or she is riding a bike.

5

Main steering tube

It’s attached to the steering wheel, it helps to set direction of transport.

Using one more tube, connect the rear cassette to the seat tube. Draw a protective shell covering the chain.

Don’t forget to connect the two parts using the upper and lower tubes.

6

Draw the saddle

Attach the saddle to the seat post. Under it, draw an absorber in the form of a small spring.

7

Attach the steering wheel, grip handles and brakes to the steering tube.

8

Basket for things

To get a beautiful drawn bike, “attach” a basket to the front part. It is possible to do purchases now.

You can draw flowers in the basket.

If you have good drawing skills and you are drawing a children’s two-wheeled transport, you can draw a girl on a bicycle or near it. To make it correctly drawn, use this instruction.

9

Add spokes in the wheels

Draw the spokes in the form of thin lines. Draw them inside the wheels.

10

Attach the trunk

On the rear wheel, attach the trunk. Draw it using thin lines. Then make clear contours.

All details are drawn. Our bike is ready 🙂
