Drawing aubergine is not difficult. A little effort and your child will learn to draw this vegetable. If the child doesn’t immediately agree, perhaps it’s because he or she doesn’t now anything about it. Attract his or her attention with interesting facts and at the same time start drawing:
Aubergine is an interesting and tasty vegetable which is also called Turkish tomato, though in fact it came from India. For a long time aubergine was considered to be poisonous and wasn’t used in cooking. But scientists have proved that the vegetable is not harmless but useful. In the East, it was considered to be the vegetable of longevity because an aubergine helps to overcome many diseases.
Basis
Start drawing using a circle. Draw a medium-sized figure at the bottom of the sheet. Use a compass to get a smooth circle.
Contours
To the right of the circle draw an uneven line that curves back, depicting the outlines an aubergine.
Connection
Connect the line to the left side of the circle. This line bends slightly downward.
Part of the circle
Erase part of the circle that is inside the outline.
Leaves
On the aubergine’s top there are small leaves. We start drawing them.
Correction
If there are unnecessary lines inside the leaves, they must be carefully erased. Also give the correct shape to the lower part of the vegetable.
Tip
Back to the leaves. Draw a small tip in a place where they are connected.
Glares of light
If you put an aubergine and look closely, then you can see the white stripes – the glares of light. Draw them on the vegetables in the form of a rectangle with rounded corners and a circle.
Coloring
It’s easy to color the aubergine. The vegetable is purple or dark blue, the leaves are green. And the glares remain white.
